Payment plans & dental financing that start with a written quote
Every treatment here gets an exact price in writing before it's scheduled. Then you pick the payment path that fits — per visit, 0% monthly, or financing from $99/month. Nobody gets a surprise bill.
Step one, always: the price in writing
Before anything is scheduled — before we even talk about payment. You get a written quote with the exact price of every recommended treatment. Not an estimate range, not "we'll bill you after." The number on that paper is the number you pay. It also happens to be a smaller number than you'll find at most offices, because our fees are set on purpose about 20% below the typical Salem office. If you want to see how our prices compare line by line, our Salem dental cost guide publishes them.
Once you have the quote, you pick a path. There are five.
Five ways to pay
A worked example: say your quote is a $900 crown and a $150 filling — $1,050 total. You could pay per visit ($150 now, $900 at the crown appointment), split the whole thing into six interest-free payments of $175, or pay up front and take 5% off since it's over $1,000. Same dentistry, three sane ways to pay for it, and the quote shows all three numbers.
What we don't do
- Surprise bills. The written quote is the bill. If something unexpected turns up mid-treatment, we stop and talk before a single dollar changes.
- Prepayment pressure. Nobody here will push you to pay for a year of treatment up front "to lock in the price." The price is locked the moment it's in writing.
- The checkout ambush. You'll never learn about a financing application for the first time while you're standing at the desk with a numb mouth. Payment options are discussed with the quote — calmly, before you commit to anything.
Why so strict about it? Because surprise billing is the main reason people stop going to the dentist, and skipped visits become the expensive kind of dentistry. Clear money talk is preventive care.
Insurance and payment plans work together
Have PPO coverage or OHP? We verify your benefits for free before your visit, apply insurance first, and set up a plan only on whatever remains. Details on our insurance & pricing page, and OHP members can start with the OHP page, since many treatments are covered outright.
